Dr. Rainer Hable

Dr. Rainer Hable is the founder of Bluebrick Chambers and a constitutional lawyer specializing in European Union law, in particular litigation before Member State courts and the European Union courts in Luxembourg. He is admitted to the Vienna Bar and teaches EU litigation at the Lawyer’s Academy.

Dr. Hable holds a Ph.D. in constitutional law and is a distinguished expert in constitutional litigation and European Union law. His expertise is built on over two decades of experience in EU law in all its variations and from all perspectives – in the European Commission, as a Member of Parliament and group spokesperson on the Committee for European Union Affairs,  and as a litigator before Member States courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union.

In addition to his law degree, Rainer Hable also studied business and economics and holds an M.Sc. degree from the London School of Economics (LSE), which makes him a sought-after expert for court proceedings requiring significant economic expertise and business acumen.

Dr. Rainer Hable has acted as lead and co-counsel in numerous cases before national Supreme Courts, Constitutional Courts, the European Court of Human Rights, and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
